Shipping Policy

1.0 Shipping Policy

1.1 Either we or our nominated delivery partner will contact you to notify you when your Products are available and will arrange a date for delivery to the address specified by you.

1.2 Either we or our nominated delivery partner will deliver your Products to any UK mainland address (excluding Northern Ireland). The charges will vary, but will be indicated when you place your order. We reserve the right to require proof of identification from you when making a delivery to you.

1.3 You are required to take delivery on the date agreed between us, otherwise we reserve the right to charge you an additional redelivery fee. This payment will be due before redelivery.

1.4 Our delivery partner for large items will contact you to schedule a delivery date. They will provide an estimated delivery time slot approximately 48 hours before delivery, once the delivery route has been planned. If you cancel the delivery later than 8am on the day two days before your delivery date or if you are not available to accept the delivery when our delivery partner arrives at your address within the agreed time slot, we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of the delivery in addition to any delivery charge already paid.

1.5 Time of delivery is not of the essence in these terms and conditions. We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of profits or other financial loss or damage suffered by you through any delay.

1.6 For deliveries of large items to addresses in mainland UK, our nominated delivery partner will exercise every caution and extend every courtesy during delivery and assembly. Neither we nor they can be held liable for any accidental damage to your property or person, however caused, and only enter your premises under these conditions.

1.7 Our nominated delivery partner will endeavour to deliver the purchased goods to you within 12 working days of them arriving in their warehouse. Failure for you to accept delivery of these items within 20 working days will result in our having the right to charge you storage charges at £10 per week for each large item (these are items which cannot be sent by postal carrier due to their size). Should you not wish to pay this we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund you accordingly. If you decide to cancel the contract in accordance with clause 5.2, any storage fees will not be refunded.

1.8 At the time of delivery the Products will usually be unpacked and assembled. A signature will be required to acknowledge delivery. The signature of the person accepting delivery at the delivery address will be proof that you or the person to whom the order is addressed has received delivery.

1.9 You are responsible for checking the condition of the Products delivered and must highlight any issues upon receipt with the delivery carrier. The delivery carrier will direct all queries at this stage to us and we will agree a means of resolving the issues that are presented at this time.

1.10 Your Products will be constructed to the highest possible standards. Should you have any concerns prior to or following delivery please contact us on 01252 757 177.

2.0 Delivery and Installation Costs

2.1 We manufacture and install premium outdoor kitchens that require expert fitting skills to ensure a successful installation is achieved.

2.2 Please find full details of our approach to our installations, costs of installation and the key aspects you will need to ensure are in place before your installation date.

2.3 The delivery charges shown online include the installation of your kitchen by our team of trained professional fitters. 

  • Delivery - Orders £0.00 to £300 - £12.00 
  • Delivery - Orders £300 to £1,999 - £25.00 
  • Delivery and Installation - Orders £2,000 to £5,000 - £500.00 
  • Delivery and Installation - Orders £5,001 to £10,000 - £750.00 
  • Delivery and Installation - Orders £10,001 to £20,000 - £1,000.00 
  • Delivery and Installation - Orders over £20,000 - £1,500.00 

 2.4 Our expert installation team will install your outdoor kitchen as per the agreed design, however connecting services is not part of the Fumaça installation. Any utility service connections will need to be handled separately with your local electrical and plumbing contractors, of course we are always on hand to assist in supporting you on this aspect.

2.5 You will only require services if you are having a fridge, sink or would like a mains gas supply, if your kitchen does not have any of these elements, you will not need the services aspect.  

2.6 We will pre-assemble your kitchen cabinets into its design formation in our Surrey workshop to ensure everything is manufactured correctly to our high standards, we then pack it up on our delivery vehicle, drive it your home and assemble it in your chosen location.

2.7 We will confirm you are ready and prepared for your kitchen 2 weeks before the installation date to ensure any services required are ready and that the location for your kitchen is complete to ensure a smooth installation of your Fumaça kitchen.

2.8 The team will assemble the kitchen and take all the packaging away, ready for you to enjoy your first experience with your new Fumaça outdoor kitchen.

3.0 Import Duty

13.1 If you order Products from our site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

13.2 Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.
